  1. i like the cold clinical feel, is it a science building? suits it if it is. Good work J, you should sell them a copy for their foyer or brochure, and make BILLIONS *puts pinky to side of mouth*.

  2. Thanks! Sort of, I suppose it could be classed as Life Sciences as it's the Student Centre and Nursing (SCAN) building.

During construction, R christened it the "Baked Bean Tin" building, and not in a good way. Here's what it should have looked like: http://www.mhs.manchester.ac.uk/images/news_scan.jpg. I think they failed.

  3. They did not have enough resources to finish the project I guess :)

  4. Nice shot! Photography seems to be coming quite naturally to you.

Would have been nice if all the "Manchester" was visible and the buildings on the left are ever so distracting, but I'm just nit picking.

  7. @Ali: Thanks!

@Ross: Aww thanks, that's nice of you to say. I'm not sure I agree yet though. I definitely agree it would have been a better shot if you could see the M on of 'Manchester'.

@Kitty: Thank you very much and thanks for stopping by.

  8. Great blog!!! I especially love your countdowns - can you share how you created them or where you found them? I like that they take up less space than the ones I'm using.

  9. @K13: Hi! Thanks, and thanks for the visit. It took me ages to find a countdown timer I liked. You can get one like that from here; http://www.oneplusyou.com/bb/countdown. There is one noticeable limit; it only lets you select up to the year 2010 for a countdown but you you can get around that by slightly editing the code yourself. Let me know if you need any help with that. :)
